The Coaching Method
Coaching is goal oriented. We start with what you want to achieve and we build on that; adding reason, purpose, direction and a plan. We look at your natural strengths (everyone has them) and we guide you in how to use these strengths to help you reach your goals in a way that fits with your life and your values. We look at where you are on the road to change and the techniques that best fit your situation. But most of all we are here to listen. We are there to help, not to judge or cajole. You point the way and we help you deal with the barriers and obstacles that get in your way, until you reach your destination.
All of the sessions are done on-line through our coaching platform which gives you the flexibility to have your session from home, your office, the train or even your hotel room. Sessions typically last about 45 min although we allow about an hour for the first 2 or 3 sessions. The sessions are built entirely around you and what you want to achieve.
Diet and exercise plans built around you.
We offer a number of different nutrition plans, which we help you chose from, depending on your desires, experience and stage of change. These plans are then used as broad templates from which we create your individual plan. We can also work from a plan you are already on and are just struggling to manage, or a plan prescribed by your doctor or dietitian. The same goes for exercise. We can offer any number of plans depending on your fitness levels and interests or you can use one of your own. You may not want to exercise at all and that is fine too. The choice is up to you. Coaching works for all levels of fitness and knowledge of food, diet and lifestyle. Remember, your Coach is here to help you.
The coaching schedule
For our one to one sessions we work at a pace and a scheduled that you decide. For most people we recommend 1 session a week for the first 4 to 5 weeks and then if the client feels ready, we move to 1 session every 2 weeks for a while, then onto 1 per month and so on. But as I say, how regular the session are and how many you have is entirely up to you. For some people once a month fits best, for others once a week works best for longer periods.
In the long term Coaching is about getting you healthy again and in a way you are happy with and can easily manage for the long term.
Group sessions are structured a little differently. Each group session lasts for 90 minutes and is divided up between planned, structured sections and open, client driven sections.
Booking and costs.
One to one sessions can be purchased in singles for €65 per session or in 5 packs for €300. If you looking to create a group or to join an already existing group the cost is €175 for 10 sessions.
