Snack Time
There is nothing worse than being caught out with nothing but sandwich shops in every direction. If you are on the go a lot, having a ready supply of high protein energy snacks that you can take with you can be a real life saver. This particular one is a favorite of a client of mine.
Protein balls
80g gluten free organic porridge oats
25g pitted dates
40g blueberries
2 scoops of Whey powder, chocolate flavour
5g Cocoa powder (optional)
3g coconut flakes (for coating)
Method:
Blend oats to make flour.
In the blender pulse the blueberries and dates ( still want little chunks).
Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Add a tiny drop of water (seriously like a drop).
Get your hands in and mix to for a dough.
Roll into protein balls or roll out square and chop into small pieces.
Coat in coconut flakes.
Place in fridge to set.

Carbs: 9.8g
Protein: 4.8g
